CIEE Buenos Aires offers diverse housing options to ensure you're comfortable in砰our home away from home. From homestays to shared apartments, we strive for your畝ccommodation preferences to be met. Additionally, all housing options畝re疹ocated in疸eighborhoods with convenient access to public眩ransportation,盎hops,畚af矇s, and eateries.Standard Housing: Includes a room in a homestay or a shared apartment with a roommate located within an hour of 91做厙 Buenos Aires.
- Homestays: Live with a local host family and immerse yourself in Argentine culture. You will have a private bedroom and access to a shared bathroom, kitchen, living room, Wi-Fi, weekly laundry and cleaning, and two meals per day.
- Shared Apartments: Live with another student in a double accommodation in a shared apartment. Apartments feature everything you need to feel at home, including kitchens, shared living spaces, fresh linens, and regular cleaning service. Most apartments don't have washing machines, but there are laundromats nearby. (Students are responsible for covering their laundry expenses.)
Select Housing: Includes a private room in a shared apartment located within 45 minutes of 91做厙 Buenos Aires. Shared apartments feature kitchens, shared common areas, fresh linens, and regular cleaning service. Most apartments don't have washing machines, but there are laundromats nearby. (Students are responsible for covering their laundry expenses.) Select housing requires an additional fee.
Select Plus Housing: Includes a private room in a shared apartment or your own studio apartment located within 30 minutes of 91做厙 Buenos Aires. Apartments feature kitchens, shared spaces, fresh linens, and regular cleaning service. Most apartments don't have washing machines, but there are laundromats nearby. (Students are responsible for covering their laundry expenses.) Select Plus housing requires an additional fee.

MEALS
- Homestays: Homestays include two meals a daybreakfast and either lunch or dinner. You and your host will work out a meal schedule that fits both of your routines.
- Apartments: Meals arent included in apartment housing, so youll be in charge of your own cooking or dining out.

Hybrid Courses
Many 91做厙 courses are available in multiple 91做厙 locations. To ensure you can enroll in the courses you need, some courses may be facilitated as a hybrid course by an instructor from a location that is separate from your own. In a hybrid course, you will learn either face-to-face or online, depending on your location. However, regardless of your location, you will apply what you learn from the instructor and course materials in your location. Hybrid courses can be identified in the course list as those whose course codes end in 91做厙 open the syllabus to see the instruction location, if known.
Academic Projects
- For Spring 2025 Academic Projects will be offered onsite (either in-person or remotely) or remotely at another Open Campus location, depending on availability and in compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Academic Project皰lacements will be designed based on the students project learning goals, qualifications, resume, and availability of placements疳n location or within the GI Network疾ither in-person or remotely. The process is highly individualized and goal-oriented. Students enrolled in an Academic Project will receive additional academic support that informs and enhances the placement experience.
- Students applying for an Academic Project are required to submit additional materials during the course selection process.
Language Classes
- During course selection, students interested in a non-introductory Spanish language course will be instructed to take an online Spanish language assessment to determine their proficiency level. Enrollment will be finalized on site and is based on assessment outcomes.
- Students痂ay opt into the non-credit Survival Spanish course during the on-site orientation.

Dates & Fees
You get more for every dollar when you study abroad with 91做厙, because our high-quality programs include everything from excursions to insurance. There are no hidden charges, and no disappointing surprises when you arrive.
In blocks I and II, courses and formal activities end on the last Thursday of the block, and in block III, on the last Friday. Students are free to use the time between blocks as they choose, either remaining in their location or using the time for their own travel pursuits. Students changing locations must check into their new Open Campus Block Network center by the first Monday of the block for local orientation, with classes starting on the first Wednesday of each block. In all cases, students are provided with continuous accommodation, and should speak with 91做厙 staff for more details.
