Host Organization Requirements

While many organizations of all types and sizes have embraced the diversity, team building, and cross-cultural understanding that come with hosting international interns, trainees, and professional, not every organization qualifies to host.
 
There are a number of factors that go into deciding whether a potential host organization is eligible to host through 91°µÍø Professional Exchange Programs. Some factors are stipulated by the U.S. Department of State, while others are standards 91°µÍø has put in place as part of our efforts to maintain the quality of our programs.

Businesses like fast-food franchises, single-location retailers, economy motels, spas, gyms, and home offices generally are prohibited from hosting. In addition, there are specific guidelines for research positions, medical/clinical organizations, agricultural operations, hospitality positions, and any position that involves unskilled labor.
